Call Forwarding Variable

Let your calls follow you to another number!

How it works:

You can program your calls to ring at another number.  This service allows a courtesy call, so that our customers may notify the person at the “forward-to” number that they will be receiving calls for them.  While call forward is on, you cannot answer incoming calls.  However, you can still make outgoing calls.

To activate:

1.        Lift the handset and listen for dial tone

2.        Press * 7 2  – Listen for dial tone

3.        Dial the telephone number to which you want your calls  forwarded.

4.        When the phone is answered, your call forwarding is in effect.

If the line is busy, or there’s no answer:

5.        Hang Up.

6.        Within two minutes, repeat steps 1-4 above.

7.      You’ll hear a confirmation tone, to let you know your call forward is now working.

To deactivate:

1.        Lift the handset and listen for dial tone

2.        Press * 7 3

3.        Hang up

*NOTE:  Dial the number exactly as if you are calling directly.  For a local number, dial the 7-digit phone number.  For a long distance number, dial “1” plus the area code.
