Call
Forwarding Variable Let your calls follow you to
another number! How it works: You can program your calls to ring at another
number. This service allows a courtesy
call, so that our customers may notify the person at the “forward-to” number
that they will be receiving calls for them.
While call forward is on, you cannot answer incoming calls. However, you can still make outgoing calls. To activate: 1.
Lift
the handset
and listen for dial tone 2.
Press * 7 2
– Listen for dial tone 3.
Dial the telephone
number to which you want your calls
forwarded. 4.
When the phone is
answered, your call forwarding is in effect. If
the line is busy, or there’s no answer: 5.
Hang Up. 6.
Within two minutes,
repeat steps 1-4 above. 7. You’ll hear a confirmation tone, to let you know your call forward is now working. To
deactivate: 1.
Lift
the handset and listen for dial tone 2.
Press
*
7 3 3.
Hang
up *NOTE: Dial the number exactly as if you are calling directly. For a local number, dial the 7-digit phone number. For a long distance number, dial “1” plus the area code. Prevent missed calls or busy signals. How it works: You can program your calls to ring at another number
if your phone is busy. To activate: 1.

missed calls when you don’t answer the phone. How
it works: You
can program your calls to ring at another phone if the incoming call is no
answered within the allotted time. The
allotted time is in 6-second increments and ranges from six to sixty seconds. To
activate: 1.
Preprogrammed – this
feature must be activated by FiberNet. Please
contact customer service by dialing 1-800-320-6144. Call Waiting/Cancel Call Waiting How
it works: Call
Waiting lets you take another call when you’re already talking on the phone! A
special tone indicates that you have a second incoming call. This service increases the chances that
calls will be successfully answered. To
Answer Call Waiting: When
you’re on the phone, a special tone tells you a second call is waiting. After
hearing Call Waiting Tone 1. Press switch-hook – your first caller is automatically placed on hold, while your connected with the second caller. 2.
Begin Conversation To
return to original call: 1.
Press switch-hook 2. Begin Conversation *NOTE: You will only be able to receive one call at
a time with call waiting service. Only two call waiting tones are heard in
between 10-second intervals. Call
waiting tones are not heard during dialing. If you have call forwarding
features activated, it takes precedence over call waiting. Incoming calls will
be forwarded and you will not hear a call waiting tone. To
Cancel Call Waiting: (this feature
is always included with call waiting) There may be times when you would like to temporarily cancel call
waiting. Cancel call waiting allows you to do so when you don’t want your
current conversation to be interrupted. Call waiting reactivates when you hang
up. To
activate before placing a call: 1.
Lift the handset 2.
Press * 7 0 3.
Listen for dial tone 4.
Dial number you want to
call To
activate during a call: 1.
Press switch-hook 2.
Press * 7 0 3.
You are automatically
returned to the call in progress *NOTE: As soon as the call is complete and you hang
up the phone, call waiting returns automatically to your phone.
Three way calling let’s you add a third party to your existing conversation. How it works: To add a third person to the call: 1.
Press
and quickly release the switch-hook to place the first person on hold. 2.
Listen
for dial tone. 3.
Dial
the third person’s phone number. (If you have speed dial, you
may dial one of your codes instead.) 4.
When
third person answer’s, announce conference before making it a 3-way
conversation. 5.
To
make 3-way connection, press and quickly release the switch-hook. 6.
Begin
Conversation To cancel the 3-way call: 1.
If
the third person did not answer, or you wish to disconnect them, just press and
quickly release the switch-hook. You’ll
be reconnected to the person holding. 2.
To
end the call completely – simply hang up. *NOTE: When the 3-way call includes long distance, you pay only for the
call’s you make. Call waiting does not work during a 3-way call.
Speed dial makes it easier for you to call your most
frequently dialed numbers with faster access. Speed dial provides storage and
easy dialing for up to 8 numbers. How it works: To program your speed dial list: 1.

the handset and listen for the dial tone. 2.

for the dial tone. 4.
For
1 digit speed dialing: Assign a speed code digit by choosing any number 2-9 for
each telephone number. For 2-digit speed dialing:
Assign a speed code digit by choosing any number 20-49 for each Telephone number. 5. Dial the telephone number you wish to assign to that speed code. (For long distance calls, be sure to include “1” plus the area code.) 6. Listen for confirmation tone. Repeat steps 1-5 to add each number on your list or to change an existing number. 7. Hang up. To call someone on your Speed Dial
list: 1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone. 2. Dial the one or two-digit speed code, then press # To change your Speed Dial list: 1.

Ultra forward allows you to forward your calls from
any telephone other than the one to which the service is assigned anytime, any
day. How it works: To Call Forward from a remote location: 1.
Lift
handset and listen for the dial tone. 2.
Dial
the appropriate access toll free number nearest to you: (This will be your

it asks you to enter your telephone number, enter your telephone number call
forwarding is activated on. 5.
Enter
your PIN number. (1234 or last 4 digits of your telephone number) 6.

Enter
the telephone number you wish your calls to forward to. 9.
Listen

Hang
up With Caller ID you know who is calling, before you
answer your phone. Caller ID basic shows you the number of the person calling,
while Caller ID deluxe lets you see the name and number of each person calling
you. How it works: 1.
When you
receive a call, wait until your telephone completes the first ringing signal. 2.
The
telephone number of the person calling you will automatically appear on your
display screen. *NOTE: ·
Subscription
to Caller ID requires the purchase of a display telephone or an add-on display
unit. ·
The letter “P” or “PRIVATE” appears on your screen, the caller may have
blocked the display of their number by pressing *67 before placing the
call. You can choose whether or not to
answer the call. ·
If “UNKNOWN NAME/NUMBER” or “OUT OF AREA” or “O” appears, the caller is
in an area that does not support Caller ID services.
Call Trace allows you to activate a trace record of the last incoming call. How to use: 1.
Lift
the handset and listen for the dial tone. 2.
Press
* 5 7 3.
Listen
for the confirmation announcement telling you a number to dial. 4.
Call
that number & report that you have dialed call trace. Please provide date
and time. *NOTE: The traced number will only be released to the law enforcement
office handling your case. Phone
companies are not permitted to release a traced telephone number to any
customer. Call Block (Selective Call Rejection) Call block allows you to block specific numbers from being able to call you. How to use: 1.
Lift
handset and listen for the dial tone. 2.
Press
* 6 0 3.
Follow
the automated voice prompts to program the numbers you want to block from
calling you. To cancel or edit your call block list: 1.
Lift
handset and listen for the dial tone. 2.
