Native West Virginians dominate every aspect of FiberNet's operations and their collective local knowledge of West Virginia business' needs and the state's telecommunications infrastructure enables them to develop unique solutions to every telecommunications challenge.

David Armentrout, President & Chief Operating Officer

David Armentrout is the President and Chief Operating Officer of FiberNet, a One Communications Company. Prior to January 1st 2007, Mr. Armentrout served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Procurement and was instrumental in planning, negotiating and acquiring various network components and facilities throughout the FiberNet network. Mr. Armentrout has held various strategic roles within the FiberNet organization and is accredited with accomplishing many of the major mile stones. Mr. Armentrout, a native of West Virginia, is one of the original FiberNet start-up team members since 1999.

Roy D. Williamson, Senior Vice President, Operations & Network

Roy Williamson is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Network for FiberNet, a One Communications Company. Prior to January 1st 2007, Mr. Williamson served as FiberNet’s Director of Network Planning & Engineering. Mr. Williamson joined the FiberNet Team in 2005 with 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to FiberNet, he served in many leadership, management, and technical positions with C&P Telephone of West Virginia, Bell Atlantic of West Virginia, and Verizon of West Virginia. Mr. Williamson is a West Virginia native of Roane County.

Huey H. Lovejoy, Vice President, Service and Delivery

Huey Lovejoy joined FiberNet, a One Communications Company, in April 2004 bringing with him 38 years of experience in the Telephony industry. Mr. Lovejoy began his telecommunications career with New Jersey Bell as a Test Center Technician and has held various other positions such as Service Manager for Bell Atlantic. Mr. Lovejoy also formed and served as President and CEO of American Telephone Wiring Company and President and CEO of Black Box Network Services,WV. Before assuming his current position at FiberNet, Mr. Lovejoy has held the titles of Director of Sales Engineering and Special Pricing and Director of Service and Repair as well as many other valuable roles.

Jack Wade, Vice President, Information and Operational Support Systems

Jack Wade is the Vice President of Information and Operational Support Systems at FiberNet, a One Communications Company. Mr. Wade has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. This includes extensive involvement with transmission systems, fiber optics design, fiber optics transmission, operations, and capital budgeting. Prior to FiberNet, Mr. Wade worked at Helicon, Time Warner and Fanch Communications. He has also been employed as a broadcast engineer at the FOX station, WVAH. Mr. Wade holds degrees in electronics, microcomputer technology, computer programming and is certified with the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.

Terry Smarr, Vice President, Operations, Wholesale & Enterprise Networks

Terry Smarr joined FiberNet, a One Communications Company, in June 1999 with over eight years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before assuming her current position, Ms. Smarr served as a Strategic Account Manager, Director of Strategic Markets, Director of Wholesale Markets and Special Pricing. She has significant training in voice, video and data applications. Ms. Smarr also has experience in marketing, economic development, and government relations. She is a West Virginia native from Fayette County and is a cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Marketing Management.

David Fisher, Vice President, Sales

David Fisher joined FiberNet, a One Communications Company, as a Sales Representative in December 2000. During his career at FiberNet, Mr. Fisher has gained a vast knowledge of the telecommunications network and infrastructure while also maintaining one of the highest levels of sales in the company. Mr. Fisher has served as a Sale Representative, Account Executive Strategic Accounts Manager, Senior Strategic Account Manager, Manager of Strategic Sales and currently the Vice President of Sales. Mr. Fisher is a graduate of West Virginia State University where he majored in Education.

Jack Belcher, Vice President, Data Development & Engineering

Jack Belcher brings over eight years of experience in data network design and management to FiberNet, a One Communications Company. Prior to joining the company in December 1999, he worked as a consultant to both Internet Service Providers and small to large Enterprise Networks. Mr. Belcher has had significant training and experience in this field and possesses an extensive knowledge of networking and telecommunications technology.

Kevin Jennings, Director, Mass Markets, Billing and Human Resources

Kevin Jennings joined FiberNet, a One Communications Company, in July of 2003 bringing with him over 15 years of Management experience in the combined fields of Customer Service and Human Resources. Prior to joining FiberNet, Mr. Jennings served as General Manager of a call center for Mileage Plus/United Airlines. Mr. Jennings’ diverse managerial background has enabled him to take on various responsibilities during his tenure with FiberNet, including the handling of Intercarrier Billing issues, FiberNet Residential and Wirefire Internet services, Human Resources, and Marketing. He is a cum laude graduate from West Virginia State with a concentration in General Business and Administration.

David L. Blevins, Director, Switch & Operations

David Blevins is the Director of Switch and Operations at FiberNet, a One Communications Company. He is responsible for everyday maintenance and growth of FiberNet's Toll Room, Switching Centers, Line and Network Translations, and Collocation Facilities. Mr. Blevins has been with FiberNet since June of 2003. Prior to joining FiberNet, Mr. Blevins worked in Switch Operations and Engineering at C&P Telephone of West Virginia, Bell Atlantic of West Virginia, and Verizon of West Virginia for 36 years. He is a native of West Virginia and has over 40 years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry.

Steve Hamula, Director, Legal/Regulatory Affairs

Steve Hamula oversees regulatory and legal affairs for FiberNet, a One Communications Company, after a 13 year career as a staff attorney with the West Virginia Public Service Commission. At the PSC, Mr. Hamula worked almost exclusively in the telecommunications sector handling consumer complaints, inter-exchange and local exchange carrier certification, tariff matters, and regulatory policy issues. He received his bachelor's degree in Journalism and his law degree from West Virginia University.
