FiberNet ISDN PRI Product Overview
FiberNet provides Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) - Primary Rate Interface (PRI) for both voice and data transport. This access service is designed to take advantage of advanced digital services. ISDN PRI is simply a set of standards that provides a common architecture for the development and deployment of digitally integrated communication services. The key to which is out-of-band signaling, resulting in a powerful, advanced application platform that helps business customers manage their communications and increase overall productivity better than ever before.

ISDN PRI is configured with 23 B channels and 1 D channel to form a Primary Rate Interface, or "23B+D." ISDN PRI is similar to the DS-1 type of access. PRI B channels can be used for any combination of voice, data, and image transmissions at Nx64 Kbps. In addition, B channels can be grouped together to create wider bandwidths for applications like video transmission. The most practical, cost-effective way for end-users to obtain this kind of speed and capacity is through ISDN PRI.
